I want to invite you to a community picnic with Secretary of State Deb Markowitz on Sunday, June 14th at 5pm at the Union Village Dam in Thetford. 
 
Deb is currently exploring a run for Governor in 2010.  We are hosting this picnic to give folks in the Upper Valley a chance to talk with Deb, discuss the issues facing our communities, and share their ideas about Vermont's future.
 
I realize the 2010 gubernatorial election may seem a long way off, but the choices being made today will determine the candidates in that race.  I have known Deb for many years and am proud to be supporting her.  I want you all to have the opportunity to meet her, talk with her, and make your own choice.
 
Please help us to welcome Deb to our corner of the state.
