Community Picnic

Sunday, June 14 Union Village Dam

From Tim Briglin, Thetford Center:

I want to invite you to a community picnic with Secretary of State Deb Markowitz on Sunday, June 14th at 5pm at the Union Village Dam in Thetford.

Deb is currently exploring a run for Governor in 2010. We are hosting this picnic to give folks in the Upper Valley a chance to talk with Deb, discuss the issues facing our communities, and share their ideas about Vermont’s future.

I realize the 2010 gubernatorial election may seem a long way off, but the choices being made today will determine the candidates in that race. I have known Deb for many years and am proud to be supporting her. I want you all to have the opportunity to meet her, talk with her, and make your own choice.

Please help us to welcome Deb to our corner of the state.

P.S. There is plenty of room at the recreation area, so feel free to bring your friends that may be interested in meeting Deb.
